Is it acceptable (or good/bad) to put personal comments on a program (say why i like a program i rotated at or why i am choosing a program out of my region)?

I think it's fine if it's a program that you worked at or rotated through. You could give a frank assessment of why you liked the program.

But if it's a program that you've never been to, I wouldn't bother unless you have very good reasons why you like the program.

Do you happen to know when we can submit our application through ERAS. Is it at midnight tonight, or is it tom at 8 AM?

Thanks and I'm not sure. Was wondering as well. Do you know if, after submitting ERAS, we can add a LoR (say from an institution we are currently rotating at or will be next month)?

Do I need to include a title inside the content of the personal statement in ERAS? (I don't refer to the title box, I mean inside the text of the personal statement)???
thanks,

Yes, you can add an LOR anytime. You can only send 4 to any one program, so if you plan to do this only send 3 and save one for later. If you've already sent 4, you can "deactivate" one and add a new letter -- but IMHO that looks bad and I would avoid it.

If a letter wasn't uploaded yet, can you deactivate it without them knowing? I had 4 and one was a chair's and I decided to save them the pain of reading it if they said in their website that they didn't require a chair letter.

.

I am wondering how can i deactivate an LOR after it has been sent out to the programs that i applied for whether they downloaded it or not ??

Actually , i wrote 2 personal statements as I am applying to neuro and preliminary.
I made a stupid mistake by sending the neuro personal statement to the prelim programs which was already downloaded by some of these programs.
when i realized that i sent out the other personal statement that i had for the prelim programs....so i was wondering which one are they going to read and is there anything i can do to let them read the one i sent later?🙁

No. If you assigned a letter to a program which isn't uploaded, and then you de-assign it to use a different letter, when the letter is uploaded it will be sent. However, I can't see what is happening until after I get the letter (i.e. I don't see anything until the letter is sent to me). So, if you create a slot, assign it to me, then de-assign it and never upload a letter into that slot, then I will never know. Clear as mud?

No, there is nothing you can do. You can hope that they didn't print anything out -- in that case the old PS will be discarded and the new one will take it's place.
