Anyone here billing for automated CBCs? (Not those with a written interp from the attending, cpt code 85060). I've been hearing that this is a common practice. What is the cpt code for the automated CBCs?

Try reading the low 85000's for codes.. There are lots depending on what automated heme tests are done..

There is a professional code for all clinical lab tests, usually designated as such with a -26 modifier.
