hey whats up?
I was going to get LORs from my schools psych rotation, family doctor, researcher at school (did lots of research), and was debating from an IM guy although i didnt do that well in IM. I was also going to do my first away psych elective in Sept. and was going to try to get a letter there as I wanted to get a psych letter from a program director. Im also planning on taking step 2 in mid august(hopefully getting my scores back by oct) to bolster chances of residency. That means im going to have to apply to programs in Oct. How much does applying a month late hurt your chances of getting interviews.
Thanks in advance!

Your application need not be complete when you submit it initially. You should complete your ERAS and submit it when you're done with it, even if your letters aren't in your file, Step 2 scores aren't back, and away rotations not squared away. Many programs will issue interview invitations solely on the basis of the ERAS document. When I interviewed for programs, all I submitted initially was the ERAS (no letters on file, no Step 2, nothing), and within the first week I had received interview invites from several programs.

Ditto the above. I'm following a timeline almost exactly like yours, and I'll start uploading ERAS the first of September. Your school should have a person to direct you regarding all of this. My school thankfully has a hyperanal individual dedicated to making us do these things in a timely fashion.
