I received a CCOM secondary in August and wrote the secondary essay: Why are you seeking a career in osteopathic medicine, and why do you believe CCOM would provide you with the type of osteopathic medical education you are seeking? When I went to print out the secondary to mail it in with my application materials, I noticed the essay was changed to: Why do you believe CCOM would provide you with the type of osteopathic medical education you are seeking? I was wondering if I should rewrite the essay or if if it would be fine to submit it as is? Any feedback appreciated 😀

i just mailed out the secondary. my question was the second, updated question. I think they want you to speak about what you are looking for in osteopathic medicine and why you think they have what you are looking for....in essence its the same question.....you have to address your knowlege of being a DO as well as kiss up about their school.

i think they shortened it to see if ppl catch on to the hint of both questions in there...i think ur fine, as long as it still answers the updated second question.

I posted about this in the secondaries thread. I e-mailed CCOM and put what they said. I'm sure though either way you submit it will be fine.
