I had a question regarding my application to dental school. I'm taking the DAT in July, and applying in August. However, I won't have physics II completed until the end of that fall semester. Do I have to wait for this to be completed before applying if it is a prerequisite?

Also, my date of graduation is the summer before matriculating into dental school. Because I'm graduating in the summer instead of the spring, do I have to wait an entire year for the next matriculation cycle, or will it be fine if I graduate in the summer, and then start dental school in the fall.

Thank you so much for your help!

No to both questions.

I have another problem with this. Some schools start in July, but being that I am forced to take classes that summer which won't end until August, am I forced to apply to schools which have a later start date?

Most likely you'll be limited to schools that begin after you graduate. However, you can and should contact schools you're interested in that begin in July with that question.

I don't think you can start late, so try to finish earlier.
