These medications are for migraine prophylaxis.

Prescription Preventatives
-Diamox Sequel 500mg 2 times daily
-Lamictal 150mg 1 time daily
-Propranolol ER 120MG 2 times daily
-Memantine XR Titration up to 28 mg by week 4

Supplements
Feverfew 380mg 2 times daily
Co Q-10 200mg 1 time daily
Folic Acid 600 mcg 1 time daily
Vitamin B2 400 mg 1 time daily

Does anyone here, as full blown pharmacologists have any problems with this list of medications?

If not does anyone have any other recommendations? Anything you can respond with would be so greatly appreciated. You just have no idea. If I am posting this on the wrong board, again I apologize. I just need help and this is the only website that seems to know about prescription medications besides those typical drug forums and I just can't associate with those people.

Thank you so much and have a fantastic day!

I ran the 4 drugs through Micromedex's drug interaction screener and the only interaction was between memantine and acetazolamide:
Reduction of renal elimination of memantine occurs with drugs that alkalinize the urine, such as carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. Under alkaline urine conditions at pH 8, memantine clearance was reduced by about 80%. The accumulation of memantine may result in increased adverse effects (Prod Info Namenda® oral tablets, solution, 2007; Prod Info NAMENDA XR® extended release oral capsules, 2010)

Personally I have never seen memantine or acetazolamide used for headaches.

Namenda for headaches actually clarifies something a saw during ippe rotations. There was a woman in her mid 30s getting Namenda, and she had been on it for a few years. It kind of struck me as odd at the time, but this is most likely what was going on.

I sincerely doubt any of the supplements are helping unless you have a diagnosed B vitamin deficiency.

I apologize awval, but what exactly does this mean in relation to the namenda I am taking? That it can help headaches or it doesn't?

Again, I apologize for being ignorant on this subject.

As a side note, Namenda itself is going generic soon(ish) and with a elimination half life of 60-80 hours, the Namenda XR seems unnecessary... it may save the patient some money now/will save the patient some money in the future to just use normal Namenda.

If you're taking it, then this stops being a hypothetical situation and becomes a post looking for medical advice, which is a violation of the ToS.

Either clarify or the mods should close.

Nvm, I misread what you posted.

Some people have found that megadoses of riboflavin do help for migraine prophylaxis. I don't see any harm beyond freakishly bright yellow urine.

I had never seen memantine or acetazolamide used for this, although I had seen memantine used for someone with major depression, and acetazolamide on certain days of the menstrual cycle for seizures associated with this.

This. Closing as the OP appears to be a request for medical advice from a patient. Whether or not the patient is also a practitioner is irrelevant.
