Hi there,

Not sure if this was discussed elsewhere, but hopefully someone can help me out.

I am currently a third year student in Canada. I took the MCAT this past summer and did not receive a favourable score. Now, if I apply to schools in Ireland for a 4-year program and am unsuccessful in gaining admission will I be considered for one of the 5/6 year programs? Since Ive taken the MCAT am I required to release this information 😕. Could I just apply to the 5/6 year programs using just my high school marks 😕.

Hopefully this makes sense.

Thanks in advance!

I know that there is a place on the application for if you taken the MCAT and i think it is probably wise to include it regardless and still apply to 5/6 year programs with all your high school and uni marks that you have completed this far. Do you graduate this year???

No, I was thinking of applying for admission in Fall 2012. This summer I have taken on some other commitments so I will unfortunately be unable to retake the MCAT.

Thanks for your reply 🙂

Another follow-up question...

Is there an opportunity to apply to a 6-year program even though you have completed your degree?
