Alrighty, so I'm a sophomore. I've got at least 2, probably 3 years until I start applying to dental schools.
I've got an amazing professor this semester, and even though we've only had 3 weeks of classes, we've gotten along really well, and I think that by the time the class is over, she'd be able to write a great LOR for me.
I'm just wondering when I should get the LOR from her. Should I go ahead and ask for it at the end of this semester while my professor still remembers me? Do dental schools not like 3 year old recommendations? I just figured it would be better to get the LOR now rather than to come back to my professor 3 years from now and ask for a recommendation when she may or may not remember specifics about me in order to write a good LOR.
Thanks for the input.
