I am new to this board so please bear with me. I completed my undergrad in 1997. I started on my Master's in Health Science and I am almost through. I am currently retaking Genetics and will be retaking Biochem in the Fall. I have not taken the MCAT and will be taking it in April 05. My question is should I apply now even without having taken the MCAT or should I wait until next year? Thanks in advance for your help.

As far as I know it, you need MCAT scores for your application to be reviewed. Better not waste your $.
Unless you can find a school that will allow you to apply without MCAT scores, of which I haven't heard of one.

Good-luck! And do well in the courses you are taking! I'm currenlty finishing my MPH.

You definitely cannot apply for any medical school w/o an MCAT score unless it is a pending August one. You will have to wait until next year but at least you have plenty of time to study. good luck! 🙂

I have only known one person who took the april MCAT the spring after they applied. But they had taken a previous MCAT and only took the April one to get off the waitlist.

You need to wait and apply next cycle!!! That way you will have the April MCAT 2005 on your application and if you do badly you will be able to take the August 05 one as well.

Good luck!!!
