hi,

i just found out i got into sgu for the spring 2005 semester. but in the time that the application was sent in, i started a job that has a year long committment. i really want to go to sgu but i'm not sure what to say to them about deferrment. has anyone been in this position or does anyone have any suggestions?

it is so easy to decide, which is more important? what if you get sick on the spring of 2005, then you will have to quit the job anyway.

Well, I defered my entrance into Ross because of financial reasons. I wrote a letter to the admissions dept about my situation and requested it. Basically you just tell them the truth and they'll either grant it or deny it. But I don't see why you would start a year-long job before hearing from all the med schools you applied to.
