There are 2 sessions of written NDBE( July and December). Deadlines varie from school to school. I think what you can do is prepare for the exam, work hard and take it anytime you feel confident. Now you have the computerized option, you can take the exam whenever you're ready. From there and depending on your score, you can applt for schools according to their deadlines.
