I submitted my app. the first day because of my subpar GPA. However, my last semester grades were not calculated into my AADSAS GPA (Spring 2005 GPA 3.91) which helps me out a lot. Will schools calculate a new GPA once they see my transcripts with the new grades? Also, I'm taking 10 units of science this summer to boost my GPA, if I submit these transcripts to each school (mid-August), will they calculate new GPA's for me? I would hate to be denied because they didn't recalculate my GPA's...and I know AADSAS only updates your grades once (in December).

i don't really know how aadsas calculated your gpa without your spring 2005 grades...i thought that was a requirement....

anyway, if that wasn't a requirement, i'm sure the schools will make that a requirement so they'll either make aadsas recalculate it, or they'll recalculate it themselves...someone's going to have to recalculate it because i don't think a dental school will even look at you if your gpa doesn't include spring 2005...

I wish AADSAS would have, but I believe the reason they didn't calculate my spring grades in to my GPA is because I submitted my app. before I knew my grades for Spring 05. My GPA's look horrible because of this now.
