Im taking a grad course and doing some research. I understand AADSAS opens up in about a month but they seems like its too late. How can I let the schools I applied to know about it?

AADSAS opens up? Please clarify your question, I dont know what you are asking or talking about.

if you need to change your academic stuff - -do it during the open academic change period. if letting them know about your research is really important... like make or break... then send the committees at each school a brief letter about what you will be/are working on.

honestly... at this point, they have probably reviewed your file already. so unless you have heard nothing from any schools I would say that it's probably not worth it. talk about it in interviews and what not, but by the time the schools get the letter, get it to your file, and actually review it by someone who matters.... it will already be dec first.

if it's a big deal to you, then go ahead and send something.... but chances are a semester long research project at the end of college is probably not going to make that much of a difference.

good luck!

I emailed some of the schools I applied to with that same question (I took some summer classes after submitting my AADSAS) and the ones that replied said I should just wait until the update period. I think that means that right now it won't really make a difference

I would just wait until the AADSAS window opens up and add any additional courses/reserach at that time. Most schools are expecting to get revised AADSAS apps and can even look at them online.

IMO, I don't think a class or a specific research experience will get you an interview a month or two sooner... unless however it is a required course, then by all means ... shoot them a short email informing them of such
