i recently finished med school but im thinking to go back to school for phd will i get any help from any stafford lender..

I don't think I'd get a PhD unless the school where you are going is going to give you free tuition and a stipend. At least for science PhD's, that is the norm, right? You should be able to defer your med schools loans while going for your PhD, I would think.
