Is it possible to match without doing an anesthesia rotation/elective? I plan on working with a community anesthesiologist next month but i dont have a formal rotation lined up and they are hard to come by....Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions?

I think as long as you've got some experience and have shown that you know what you're getting into, you shouldn't need a formal rotation.
There has got to be many people that haven't yet done their rotation by the time they interview, what's the difference?
