Hello!

i am planning to apply this summer, but i have a couple questions.

1) i want to participate in a medical missions this summer...is that a good idea? It will be sometime in late july to august. Will secondaries start coming out by then if i send in my primaries by late jun?

2) if i decide to do a medical mission in the winter, will interviews start by december-january?

Yes and yes. Secondaries start coming in fast, sometimes a few weeks after you've submitted.

As far as interviews, I interviewed from September-November, and then took one February interview (I submitted in June and had my first acceptance in November)

Medical missions are amazing. You could probably do the winter one, but the summer one would depend on how long you'd be gone.
