Hello everyone. I am a new member at SDN site and this is my first post, though I have been the reader for a long time. I have some questions regarding the field of dentistry.
1) What is the job outlook for dentists, let's say --- in the next 10 years?
2) What is the average salary for general dentists? For the specialists?
3) Do most dentists work at hospitals? I have heard that in order for a dentist to open his/her own practice, the dentist must have about 5 years experience, is that true?
4) What are the specialties? How long does each one take (in terms of residency)?
