Hello I have a few questions here.

First of all, I was wondering which schools have a combined DO/PhD program. I

Secondly, I'm guessing there are different standards for accepting someone into a DO/PhD program as opposed to an only DO program. Between the two of them I would prefer to get into the DO/PhD program, however, if that's not possible, I would at least like to get into the school's DO only program.

Now my question is how do I inform this to the school? How do I make sure they consider me BOTH for DO/PhD program AND DO only program? Because if there are different standards, I might be missing out on an opportunity to be getting into the DO program, because I'm being only considered for the DO/PhD program.

Next question is.. What are the requirments for applying for the DO/PhD? Do I have to have taken the GRE?

Anyway, any info anyone can provide me about this would be appreciated.

TCOM also has a DO/PhD program. Info can be found here.

best of luck.

VCOM has also started a DO/PhD program. You would have to call the school to ask any details. I do know that there are some of the class of 2007 that are in it.

umdnj has one...but im not sure if they give you a full scholarship for it anymore though

All the DO/PhD programs I am aware of require you to be an active DO student at the school.

You then apply to the PhD program in your second year after doing research in your 1st year summer.

I'm not sure about the others, but that's not true at MSUCOM. You apply to both the med school and grad school you want to be in, and have to be accepted to both.
