Hi People:

I turned in my AADSAS application at the end of July. I've also taken my DAT last week. I had two LORs turned in already, but one of my professor and my dentist still need 2 more weeks to finish their letters. Should I just send these letters directly to schools then? Will AADSAS wait for the letters by any chance? Thanks for your help.

AADSAS will send your application regardless if they received all your LORs. But not worry, when you do send in that last LOR, AADSAS will send it for you. I am in the same boat with my transcripts. AADSAS told me that they will send in my final transcripts to the schools when they receive it and they won't hold my entire application back because of that.

As a word of caution, don't count on AADSAS sending those LOR out as soon as they get them. My four LOR trickled into AADSAS and they held each one for three weeks before finally mailing them out - and that was back in June and early July. With September already here and the number of applications that they are starting to receive I would venture to say that you could experience a longer turn-around time. I would have the LOR sent directly to the schools in order to help complete your file in a more timely manner.

Thank you both for your responses. I hope the LORs can be sent in before AADSAS mail out my applications to the schools. :scared:
