Anyone have any information about the MPH/DO program at the school? Is it easy to get in? Is it worth it? Do a lot of people do it? When do you apply?

Also so I remember at the interview they said you have to do your entire 3rd year in Florida. But what about the 4th year?? How many of your rotations can you do in other locations in the US and abroad?

I know NSU is lecture-based learning, but don't they do some PBL??

I can only answer some of your questions...

The MPH/DO program is pretty much just the DO program...if you make it into the DO school..they will later ask you if you want to get the MPH degree which is totally free tuition wise...the only commitment i think is 2 or 3 nights of class a week....and i dont know if alot of people do it..but there were ppl at my interview that were doing it..and said the classes were a blowoff..and that they do their studying in class anyway..so the time commitment isnt that big of a deal...and as for PBL...they have PBL like sessions during 2nd year...when you meet with a small group and a doctor that go over cases when learning about the systems...having said this..NSU is still 90% lecture based. About the rotations..im not 100% sure..but NSU has rotation sites outside of FL..i think there is one in GA....but as for 4th year..i hear you can do your rotations anywhere...
