Hi everyone,

I took the DAT last week and I am not happy w/ my scores so I'm thinking to retake it, but the soonest I can take it again is mid Oct., does anyone know if I can register for it now and take it 3 mons later, or am I only allowed to do that after 3 months?

Thanks...

P.S.,
is it too late to take the DAt again in mid oct. for this cycle? I'm kind of overwhelmed by this whole thing? I really appreciate your feedback.

I'm pretty sure you can register for a retake right now and don't have to wait three months. However, like you said, the day you pick to take your test would be 3 months from your previous test date. I think if you are REALLY not happy with your scores, than yes a retake is your best bet. You also might want to contact the schools you're applying to and see what they think. GL

you can register with ada but you have to wait 3 months before you can pick your date. they will notify you when you are eligible.

i called them for the same question. they said you can register as soon as you want AND pick the date now, you just have to pick a date 3 months away
