Hey, thanks for your responses before hand. I have read a few things in other threads throughout the forum, but wanted to make a more concentrated thread for this question.I was just accepted to USN and start this fall. USN is not a cheap school, and I was planning on taking out the max in loans for the first year to see how my schedule will turn out. I am married with a 1 month old son, and not inherently rich. I make just enough now to make ends meet for us. When school starts I plan on finding a job as an intern, I have a few options already and have informed a few retail pharmacists and dropped off applications. My question is, what have you in school and past school found helps to balance your time? I plan on a few hours a night studying, and trying to work 10-20 hours a week working. I want to have some time with my family though, especially our new son. Id also like to work out. I realize that time is going to be limited and ill have to pick my poisons from time to time. What has helped you balance your life and time during school? Anyone in the same or similar position that Im going to face or has good insight thanks for yoru responses 🙂

My son was a year old when I started school last year. I am the primary wage earner in my household, so I had to work a lot. STUDY AHEAD. Cram all the study time you can in there. Schedule, schedule, schedule. Study smart. Prioritize. Get enough sleep. PM me with your questions.

i am almost in the same position but with 2 babies , "4 and 1.5 years old " , but i didn't start pharmacy yet ,working on getting everything together to apply + trying to study for the nightmare pcat . i wish i can help you out , but it is challenge , the good thing is the baby won't remember that much in that age " still 1 month old" and might not depend on you that much either unless for feeding a bottle. but after 6 months it will be a little bit challenging because you will start feed regular food and watch baby walk ,and so on . but any way for the first 1-2 years it will be ok .
just worry about the study
