Could someone please tell me what the current edition is for the high yield series and for brs is the 4th edition most current for all the subjects.
Also do people usually buy both the high yield and board review series to study or just one and and any advice which is better

I used a combination of both, and generally used old editions. I liked BRS Path + BRS Phys, HY Histo + HY Neuro. Just browse through them and see which you like better for each subject, I guess.

Amazon can tell you what edition is most recent, if you really need to know.

High yield is mostly worthless stuff. I recommend Kaplan notes.
