The person I was going to interview said they wouldn't be able to get back to me until Monday. This assignment is due tonight at 11:30 PM. I would greatly appreciate your answers if you are a PT, I just need your name and job title! These do not need to be long answers. Again, I would greatly appreciate it!

1) Why did you decide to go into physical therapy?
That's where the dart landed, when I threw it against a board adorned with signs for different professions.

2) What is the most rewarding part about your job?
Playing with Therabands.

3) Is there a certain type of patient you enjoy working with?
The ones in perfect health.

4) Is there anything you would like to change about the facility you work in?
The color of the carpet.

5) What are some other careers you considered before settling on physical therapy?

Congressperson: get paid for doing absolutely nothing, and receive lots of brib, er, gifts, from lobbyists.

6) What advice would you give to someone who wants to go to school for physical therapy?
Read this section of SDN (serious advice, for once).

7) What is a common misconception that people have about your job?
My drinking buddies keep thinking that I went into PT because this field is female-dominated.

8) What is the most challenging part of your job?
Waiting for the lunch break.

9) How is your job different from what you thought it would be while in school?
I don't get to play with bones and skeletons any more.

10) What personality traits do think make a good physical therapist?
A good sense of humor.

Seriously, if you had spent 30 mins searching past threads on this forum, you'd have all the answers you wanted.

It's pretty good being around like-minded people. My classmates kept me motivated in health and lifestyle. We had quite a few type A's (none were guys) but they were also cool peeps.

With that said, I'm ready to go out, continue this motivation and bulk up . #nawimsayin'
