If anyone would like to contribute (med students, residents, attendings) insightful questions that med students can ask during their interviews, please do. Besides specific questions for each program, I think it would show interest and preparedness to have some good, positive, general questions to ask interviewers. Just trying to think of questions that cannot be answered just by reading the apgo website or the individual program's website. Any/all takers please contribute. I think it will help us all!
My thoughts:
1. Do you anticipate any major changes in your program in the near future?
2. What aspect of your program are you most proud of?
3. Are there any exciting developments/research going on in your institution, outside of the Ob/Gyn department?
4. What do graduates of your program typically do (private practice, fellowships, research)? What percentage?
5. Do the residents interact socially, outside of work?
