I'm an international student currently studying at the university of south carolina. I was thinking about posting this in the international section but i realized all the people there are actually living in their native countries and their backgrounds are different from mine so I figured I would post it here in case some people can help me.
I was just wondering, just how hard is it for international students to get into dental schools?
Ive heard that it is basically impossible to get into state schools and a little higher chance on private schools but your stats gotta be ridiculous (DAT of 24 or higher, GPA or 3.8 or higher stuff like that from what I've heard). I just want to hear from other international students (if there are any) on what I need to get/do to increase my chance of getting in. I'd really appreciate it if you guys could share some of your experiences. A little help here would go a LONG way for me.
