Hi,
So I got a couple questions regards with OT. My goal was to be a physical therapist, however Im slowly falling in love more with my undergrate major. Which is human development and family studies. I saw many of the pre-req for Ot school are all part of my major because most are psychology classes such as child development etc which is in my major. I haven't done any observations hours yet, but I have a solid gpa and pre-req gpa. All I have left is anatomy and phisiology from the certain schools I am looking at if I decide to do this. Plus is being a Guy in Ot weird? Just looking for some comments and opinions on all this.
Thanks

Being a guy in OT isn't weird at all. One of the OT's I shadowed was a male and he was awesome!

Definitely observe as soon as you can -- that'll give you real insight into whether or not this profession may be for you. I am currently enrolled in a program and out of the 32 of us, there are only 3 guys. However, having their input and perspective when it comes to the field proves to be very valuable. Nothing weird about it!
