I did my pre-pharm over 3 years at a community college. I received tuition waivers for working at the college, so I was best able to afford it that way. So far I have been given an interview at one of the schools I applied to. I know others along the same pre-pharm path that were admitted to prestigious schools last year, so I don't think the community college factor will hold you back. At least, I hope not!

I'm doing my pre-reqs in 2 years at a CC. I go there because its close to home (I'm married w/kids). I don't think the time it takes to finish pre-reqs really matters. I'm going full time, but its because of my GI Bill payments.
There's a lot of debate about going to CC vs university, so you'll get a lot of different opinions about where you should do them. I worried about going to CC briefly. I decided to not worry about it, do my best in school (wherever I'm going), and kick butt on the pcat. 🙂

👍 Thank you, it helps to know from those that were once there. I'll just keep my gpa up. Good luck on your interveiw!
