im applying to dental schools, last time aroudn i submitted my application with essay etc but then decided i wanted to take a year off so I never sent in my DAT and didnt withdraw the app..do schools go through and read all your app (letters of rec, essay, etc) if you have not sent in your DAT score? or do they only review applications when they are complete? do they keep applications from previous year on file or trash it? if your application is incomplete is it still considered as reapplying? a fw questions 🙂

they are trashed after every year. they may have looked at your application or they may have not.

if you are asking if you will be hurt from last year's "non-event" then the answer is probably not. i'd be surprised if it ever came up in an interview, and if it did, i would think the schools would understand someone wanting to take a year off.
