How can I become a pharmacy technician? I really want to work at a retail pharmacy, but I have no idea how the process works.

Also, I was at the bookstore today, and I was casually looking through the Barron's PCAT prep book. I found the questions to be surprisingly easy, and I could answer about 90% of the questions off the top of my head. Do you know if this book is a good predictor of what the PCATs are really like? Which books do you recommend? Where can I find a book whose practice exams are most like the actual PCATs?

Technician requirements vary by state. I live in Florida, and all you need here is a high school diploma. But, to actually get a job you should get certified first. That gives you an edge over other applicants.

The PCAT questions in the Barron's book are much easier than the test. It does give you an idea of the format of the test.

You could just go into a store of one of the retail pharmacy chains and ask about applying for a tech position. They should help you get licensed and everything.
