Hi- I am new to this forum and have a couple of questions. First, I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about Antigua medical school. I actually tried calling the school for information and I could not understand one word the other person on the phone was saying and she could not understand me (huge language barrier)--so anyway it was a complete waste of time. I have been reading someting about they are not part of all 50 states. I apologize for asking this silly question, but what does that mean? If I were to go there, could I practice in all 50 states?

My next question is if I were to take the MCAT at the end of May or June, would it still be possible for me to apply to a Carribbean Medical School for the Fall 2007 class?? When is the lastest one can apply and expect to hear back? Are there schools that do not require the MCAT? If so, what schools? Sorry for all the questions. Your answers would be greatly appreciated.

No you wouldn't be able to practice medicine in all 50 states. That is exactly what that means. There is PLENTY of information on the internet about all of this. Go to the school's website to find out more information. Also, if it was a huge language barrier on the phone just imaine when you get there. What kind of education would you receive? Something to ponder.
There are schools in the caribbean that do not require the MCAT. Again just think of the quality of education you will get or not get from these schools. Trying to take the easy way out is never the easy way. This will just be more a headache when you come back here.
Check out Valuemd.com This website is dedicated to international schools. You should be able learn a lot from there.
Do your research before going down there. There are some good schools and a lot of crappy ones so be careful.
