Sorry It's supposed to be quick* 🙂
Hello guys
I'm looking to volunteer in a hospice , the hospital I applied offers hospice services with nursing homes . But I don't know if there is a difference between hospice in hospital and nursing home. My director told me it's the same thing but I want to make sure. 😉
Is it okay if I volunteer in a nursing home hospice?

Either way, hospice is working with people who are near death. I don't think it would make a difference.

I would say bad idea, but it depends on where you are at in your schooling. I did my generals at a community college and then did the sciences at university. I had Gen Chem 2, Physics 1, and the accompanying labs in the same semester with a lame class mixed in. Another semester I had OChem with Physiology and Genetics. I wish I had done all of my classes at the university and spread out my heavy science classes with my generals.

You're looking to gain clinical exposure and patient interaction, and you'll get these at either place.
