are 3 credit summer classes supposed to be entered as semester classes or quarter?

lol, well, it depends if those 3 credits are quarter credits or semester credits🙂 what kind of system does that summer school have?

i doubt they are quarter though....3 seem too little for the quarter system.

the class was just like organic chem is during fall or spring but the material was covered in a month instead of 3. so I'm not sure if that's a semester or a quarter?

generally if the school is normally on a semester system or quarter system... the credits are always semester or quarter respectively..no matter if its fall , spring , or summer..... it doesnt matter on the length of the course... considering what you have told us... and like what someone else had mentioned... I am almost certain that Ochem class over the summer was 3 semester units... so if on a normal fall or spring schedule at that particular school is semester... then the summer credits are semester too... shoot whats the school name... i'll call them up for ya 🙂

90% of those ochem summers are semester based, but whats the name of the school...?
