Hey if I have 1 c- in cell bio from a couple of semesters back does this mean I have to retake the class before I apply?

Sweet thanks for the reply, I was just reading all these posts and it sounded like you could not have any c- grades

correct me if I'm wrong but I believe any grade of C- is not considered passing...so I believe you would be required to retake it

depends on the school. call them if you wanna be on the safe side.

this whole "C- is it passing/failing?" was a thread a while back. you can do a search for if you want some more opinions on the matter.

i would retake it just incase...u dont want that to be the downfall of ur application🙁.. C- honestly could have setbacks..y take the risk

IMO, if you have enough hours of biology to cover preques (I think 14 hours) it is not matter you have C- in cell biology because it is not prerequie for any Dental school. but maybe it is good idea to retake it just showing you can handle upper level courses. by the way I didn't good either last semester, finished with B-, and I am not planing for retaking.
