Hi all!

Just a very quick question.

Would you count summer as being part of the academic year? Like if I meant to describe the summer following my sophomore year, would it still be considered sophomore year (since junior year hadn't begun) or would it just be "the summer after my sophomore year"/"summer prior to junior year"

Depends on what you are describing/writing or if you are talking about taking classes over the summer and where to put them but if you are writing your PS, for example, summer after sophomore year will be universally understood.
