Step 2cs next week and just want to make sure I am doing this correctly.

For the diagnosis part all you are literally putting down is pos/neg findings? Are we to assume the scorer will know our thought process by the pos/neg findings or do we have to spell it out further?

Same goes with the labs/diagnostic tests....do we just list them or do they need a justification (e.g. CBC to assess for anemia). Also if you'd do a test only after other workup was negative do you list this and qualify that or leave it off all together?

Thank you!

You don't explain anything. Just list supporting history or physical exam findings for the diagnosis.

List all the diagnostic workup you'd do at the time. No need to go overboard. I think I only hit "add row" once.

Look at First Aid CS. Their notes go a little overboard (in several cases they suggest diagnoses that are a bit far-fetched and on the test you may lose points for that) but in general that's how your notes should look.
