Shouldn't the question ask for a ketal, not acetal?
Answer is B, which is a ketal...
I thought an acetal is an aldehyde with two esters bonded to it.

Or am I just going crazy......?😕😱

Legal was a term from an old literature. It is still used sometimes. However, now acetal is used for both. Hope this helps.
