Hey!,

Quick Question: I am asking professors now for recommendaiton letters for the upcoming 2010 application cycle for '11 matriculation into dental school, and at my school all the pre-health students applying to medical or dental school usually ask for recs from professors and have them mailed to our pre-health advisor on campus. The pre-health advisor then reviews them and then mails them out to the AADSAS or AAMC (the medical one for pre-meds?) for the applicants from our school. However, one of my professors has a problem with my pre-health advisor on campus and will not mail anything to the pre-health advisor and told me to tell him how he can mail it directly to the AADSAS or the schools themselves.

Herein is the question! Where and when do I tell him to mail the recommendation that he is writing me? I read on the ADEA website that they should be mailed after the application process starts after June 1st (or whenever the date was that it opens), and someone else told me i could just have him submit it online? And then I read somewhere on the ADEA website that I need to give my recommender a form which i print out when I open an application in June and attach it to the recommendation so when the recommendation is sent to the AADSA that it will process correctly to my file? 😱 .... I am really confused. so....what exactly do i have to tell my professor? Should I give him the AADSA address now and tell him to mail it after the application opens...or what?

Thanks! any help is appreciated.
