I'm having trouble at my current post-bacc program. I have taken two classes (one semester). Would it be wise to drop out of the program and retake the classes at a different institution? And would my grades follow me? What would medical schools see? My original grades? Can they request to see them? Thanks!

Your grades will follow you.. On the AMCAS application, you're required to list every college-level course you've taken (I vaguely remember there being special instructions for AP classes and other high-school related stuff, but that's not relevant here 😳). You'll also need to send in transcripts from every institution you've taken classes at, including your current post-bacc program.

So.. medical schools will basically see everything. Without knowing more details about your situation, I'd suggest not taking additional classes until you are positive you can get good grades. Figure out why you were having trouble and address those issues first.

+1. Med school will suck big time if you don't solve this, regardless of transcript count/content.
