Hi, I've missed checking in here occasionally...now that finals are over (yay!) I have a bit of free time. So I have a quick question...no, I'm not planning on spending my entire break studying by any means...but I thought I'd go ahead and try to find a cheap copy of a book for next semester's physiology class covering the lung.

I think I remember my prof mentioning a book by West maybe...he said any edition would really be OK...does anyone know what the title might be, or if there are any other good overview books for the lung (I probably need to start pretty basic!). Thanks!

Respiratory Physiology The Essentials by John B West

u can get it for like 5-10 bucks on Amazon
great book

I remember being in the midst of pulmonary physiology last year and being so confused that I didn't know which end was up. I used the little Lange Pulmonary Physiology book. It's only about 300 pages, and the pages are the size of a TV Guide page. I thought it was awesome, and it totally saved my butt. 👍

Thanks for the info...I'm off to Amazon!
