yup, just as the title says. would biostats be science or math? cuz i know that calculus is considered a science class so any clarifications would be helpful.

No, biostats and calculus are math classes. But AMCAS, for example, groups together science (chem, bio, physics) with math classes (stats, calc, etc.) to calculate your BCPM GPA.

If you are pre-dental, the dental apps might have their own groupings, but I don't know.

Calculus is a science class??

I would consider biostatistics a math class- here's a course description from the intro biostat class (for epi majors) at Emory:

"Course Description: Introduces statistical concepts and methods, including: graphical and numerical descriptive statistics, elementary probability, point and confidence interval estimation and one- and two-sample hypothesis testing for means and proportions, and simple linear regression. Common parametric and nonparametric approaches are presented. Underlying theory is empirically demonstrated."

Hope that helps!

If you go by traditional university/college-level groupings for arts and sciences: humanities, social science, and natural science--all universities place mathematics into the natural science category.
