Quick Question on DAT Gen Chem

For those of you who have taken the DAT already, how many long multiplications/long division problems did you actually have to do out on paper to get the answer? Were a lot of them just set up in equation form or were you expected to do a lot of math to get the answer?

I feel that on Topscore, they are expecting a lot more math out of you than what I have heard of on the real DAT... and it's making me slightly nervous 🙂

I can't recall specifics honestly, but I felt like mine was a pretty even mix. I didn't think Topscore's was unreasonable either though, so I'm not sure. I mean, you won't be expected to use huge numbers, and if huge numbers are involved, there is usually a way to "shrink" them by multiplying in a different order or something. Definitely become somewhat comfortable doing logs in your head though, as it relates to pH.
