I was just wondering if it was recommended to get the newest books out there available such as the DAT Destroyer/MATH Destroyer 2014, Kaplan DAT 2012, Cliff's AP Bio 4th edition and so forth.
Are the prior editions sufficient enough for all materials covered for the DAT test in 2014 with the change-up in bio?

Thank you guys in advance 🙂

You're going to want to use the 3rd edition of Cliff's AP bio. I think you can probably get away with versions of the other stuff that is 1 year old. I wouldn't stray to far from that, though.

Thank you very much for your response! I have already gone and bought my 3rd edition of Cliff's AP Bio, Chad's vids, Kaplan DAT 2012, and waiting on some funds to buy the DAT destroyer & Math destroyer 2014. So until I get enough $$$, I will start on my studies with the rest of the study materials I purchased!

Newer editions are usually better. There is a small difference in price, but you will get the most up to date questions and explanations.

I will definitely invest in the new version of the Destroyer. They update their books regularly and each new edition has new questions.
You can also get Campbell Bio book. You might find it in your college library.
I don't know what are you planning to use for the reading and the PAT.
any questions feel free to ask

am in need of DAT study materials would you please help me if you have a soft copy

I agree woth Newbee12, get the most recent edtion. They usually gove you the most recent exam-type problems.

OP I felt like kaplan does a great job of representing the real DAT except for PAT. The destroyers are good, but I personally felt they go into way to much detail compared to the real DAT, so I wouldn't spend crazy amounts of time on them. Datqvault is great also. I felt like it was the most representative of the types of random questions you will get.
