I would like to get some advise in this can somebody answer me? I want to take org chem at a community college but im enrolled in four year institution at the moment would that look bad to dental school and would they accept my classes? I would aprecciate if somebody gives some insight anything would help. Thanks🙂

I'd say don't do it. Its too risky since some schools don't accept requisite CC credit entirely. Can you take it at a university/4 year college in your area?

well i dont really need to but i was doing it because the org teachers suck at my institution, but thanks for your advise

It's totally up to the school. Some Dental schools care, others don't. Can't go wrong at University unless the teachers are no good.

as a general rule you should take all of your prereqs at a 4 year university. check with the schools you are interested in to see what their requirements are regarding CC credit.

If you have the discipline, see if you can sit in on the community college course (without getting a grade) and see if that helps you to perform better in the class. Technically speaking, organic chemistry is organic chemistry regardless of who teaches it (although I do agree that the professor makes a HUGE difference), so what you learn at a CC should help.
