Hi guys.

I was just wondering if anyone finds the math section of the DAT toughest?

Historically I have always been "weak" at math, mainly because I had a pretty poor foundation in it in lower secondary. Im currently IN 2nd year undergrad and i have not taken any algebra/trig classes. Only calculus in first year which doesnt apply to the dat.

Anyway, I was wondering what the general view is with regards to how tough the math part is relative to th other stuff.

Personally I find the perception stuff the easiest. I just find it kind of effortless really. Is this also the general consensus ? Do people struggle with the PAT section or is the section people score best on ?

I was expecting to do well on the math portion and hence did not study that much for it. This is a bad mistake.

Recommendation: you should study for it and take it seriously and work at performing calculations as quickly as you can. I mean QUICK. Time is of the essence expecially considering the vast majority I came across were word problems
