First off, hello and thank you for reading.

So, to my question: I am currently in my first year of a two year MS program and next semester I am registered for a few doctoral level Graduate Biomedical Science classes that I hope will be well received by ADCOM's (as my master's will be in epidemiology, which is not a "hard" science). Would it be best to continue taking classes in GBS next year, or focus solely on retaking a couple classes I performed poorly in?

I could do a mixture of both, but I would have to do the retakes within the time it takes me to complete this program because of Scholarship/Financial Aid issues.

-Thank You

Your situation sounds similar to the one I was in. I completed my graduate degree while also satisfying pre-reqs and retaking undergraduate courses. I just used my graduate school loans to finance both paths. You're really not supposed to use graduate loans to take undergraduate classes, but I never was questioned or "caught" doing it. So... But yeah, I would suggest knocking out both at once, because you do need to get both GPAs up, especially the sGPA. Your MCAT score is great though!
