Its not hard, but it is a pain in the ass. You have to study for the DAT, which shouldn't be hard since you took the MCAT...but you still need to take the DAT. Then you have to waste a year to go through the whole application process. And then you have to suck up the fact that NONE of your classes from med school transfer over.

We had a med student that was in my class. He got as far as 3rd year in med school and wanted to do dental. He applied and got in just to fail out before 1st year was done. Not sure what he is doing now.

He did great in the academic portion, but in the pre-clinic he just couldn't do it. Not sure why because you can train a monkey to do dentistry.
