Can you do start your PGY2 in radiology after completing a PGY1 yera in pathology? Basically, can I make my prelim year pathology instead of IM/Surgery?

This is a no-go. The clinical year can be in a number of different specialties, but pathology is not one of them.

Aren't there any programs that don't require PGY1? And if TY is 100% needed, what is the best choice to take in it? IM, EM, or Surgery?
