Aw, come on, I love this guy.

He began in January 2008 with an interest in psychology. Then he switched to psychiatry after realizing that psychologists do psychology. In June he appeared in PM&R. In July he wanted to do preventive medicine. By October he was in pathology, and matched in March of 2009. A short eight months later he was interested in finding pathology jobs in Canada, and by this past December was trying to figure out what to do with pathology training and a J-1 Visa in this country. Perhaps the radiology pastures are looking greener right now. If so, I wish him a fond adieu.

😡

ACCORDING TO YOUR FLAWED LOGIC : NURSES WHO SEE PATIENTS MORE THAN PHYSICIANS ARE TECHNICALLY "SUPER PHYSICIANS/CLINICIANS"

AN "EXCELLENT PATHOLOGIST" IS A PHYSICIAN EXEMPLAR FOR HE DIAGNOSIS AND PROGNOSTICATES AND SHOWS ALL OTHER PHYSICIANS THE DIRECTION THAT LEADS TO PROPER PATIENT CARE. IN THE HIERARCHY OF PHYSICIANS HE IS THE SUPERGUIDE. IF HE MISLEADS, THE PATIENT IS DOOMED FROM THE GET-GO.

AN ANALOGY CULLED FROM POPULAR LITERATURE: THE PATHOLOGIST IS " SHERLOCK HOLMES" WHILE THE OTHER PHYSICIANS ARE "WATSON" AND "INSPECTOR LESTRADE "IN THE GRAND SCHEMA OF THINGS MEDICINE.

BUT I DO AGREE WITH YOU THAT WE SHOULD BE PAID MORE THAN ANY OTHER PHYSICIAN IN MEDICINE BECAUSE OF OUR IRREPLACEABLE ROLE IN PATIENT CARE.

I dunno, man. I kind of think heart surgeons and neurosurgeons should get paid more. Have you ever talked to one and seen the kind of call they have to do and the hours they put in?

Yeah, those surgeons live in the hospital! You forgot trauma and transplant surgeons.
