Quick and simple is the theme of this thread

Q #1. When inserting my personal statement, is it just me or can we not tab for seperate paragraphs?

Q#2. For all quarter students out there, when I add new COMPLETED session for each seperate quarter, the fall quarters do not go in order as the rest of the coursework. Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks

I like your idea of 'random aadsas questions'. I actually have some questions of my own:

Specifically, I am confused on the 'College Attended' section of the application. On that page, I understand everything except for when it says 2nd Degree.

Here's my situation, I just finished my fourth year this month, and earned a Bachelor of Science. My major was Biomedical Sciences. This year (during the application cycle), I am planning on a 'post-bacc'. Does a 'post-bacc' have anything to do with the 'Second Degree' section of this page?

I know I can enter in 'planned courses' on the coursework session, but is there anywhere on AADSAS where I can explain that I will be doing a 'post-bacc' next year (this is if I'm not supposed to enter this information where it says 'second degree' in the colleges attended section).

I hope I havn't confused you guys, if I have, don't worry about the question

I would try to enter something about your decision to do a post-bacc in your personal statement, it shows your desire for education. I am not sure about a specific courses session for post-bacc. unless you know the classes you will be taking in the upcoming year. Then just put them down at the college you will be attending. hope that helps.

Hello, joebucks

Thank you for your response. I have already signed up for classes to take in the fall semester, so I guess I'll just put these into the 'planed courses'.

AADSAS aside, is there a difference between a 'second degree' and a 'post-bacc'. I guess my real question is, what exactly is a post-bacc? I just remember my counselor telling me it's just one year worth of biology classes.

From your post, I gathered that the AADSAS application does not really care for a 'post-bacc', and consequently did not supply a space for it on the application, is that right? Thanks again for your input!

i think second degree is for an actual second degree, not just classes.

In answer to your second question. I'm also on the quarter system (at UCSD) and yes, because of that they do not line up in order on the AADSAS form. I wouldn't worry about, as long as AADSAS can verify your grades and come up with the correct gpa, thats seems most important.

This might be somewhere in AADSAS but I can not find, and bluntly am to tired of trying to dig for the exact wording.

Q. can we submit our apps w/out our transcripts or LORs recieved yet.

they are in the mail, just not recieved. I just want to get this process over with.

thanks
